City Racing 2012.
A
request has been received from Bavaria City Racing for the temporary
road closures on the times and dates stated. The main event
will take place on Sunday
3rd June, 2012.
However, temporary road closures will be in place on some roads from
18.00 hrs on Saturday
2nd June to
05.30 hrs on Monday
4th June.
- From 06.00 to 20.00 hrs on Sunday 3rd June - Samuel Beckett Bridge, Talbot Memorial Bridge.
- From 05.00 to 20.00 hrs on Sunday 3rd June - Butt Bridge
- From 19.00 Saturday 2nd June to 05.30 on Monday 4th June - O’Connell Bridge, Westmoreland Street, D’Olier Street, College Street, College Green, Dame St (College Green to South Great Georges St), Wellington Quay, Crampton Quay, Aston Quay.
- From 18.00 Saturday 2nd June to 05.30 on Monday 4th June - Burgh Quay, Georges Quay.
- From 18.00 Saturday 2nd June to 09.00 on Monday 4th June - Custom House Quay, North Wall Quay.
The
temporary road closure is to facilitate the Bavaria City Racing
event.Traffic
Management Plan
South city inbound traffic on Pearse Street, Mount Street Lower, Leeson Street Lower heading for South City Centre will be diverted via St Stephen’s Green South and Cuffe Street, and those heading to North City Centre will be diverted via Kevin Street, Patrick Street, Winetavern Street, O’Donovan Rossa Bridge and North Quays.
North city inbound traffic on Phibsborough Road, Dorset Street, Fairview heading to South City Centre will be diverted via Church Street, Father Matthew Bridge and Bridge Street.
South city traffic on Rock Road/Merrion Road, Stillorgan Road/ Donnybrook Rd Clonskeagh Road, Milltown Road, Ranelagh, Rathgar Rd/ Rathmines Rd heading for north city (not City Centre) will be diverted via East Link or Clanbrassil Street, Patrick St, High St and Bridge Street, Father Matthew Bridge and Church St.

In
order to facilitate the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon on
Bank Holiday Monday 4th
June 2012,
Dublin City Council wish to close the following roads during the

- 08:00 am – 19:00 pm Merrion Square South, Merrion Square West, Merrion Street Upper

Traffic
Diversions
- Traffic heading north on Rock Road will divert via Strand Road, Beach Road, Bath Street, Irishtown Road, Bridge Street, Ringsend Road, Pearse Street, Tara Street for northern traffic.
- Traffic heading north on the Stillorgan Road will divert via Foster Avenue, Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh Road, Sandford Road, Ranelagh Road, Charlemont Street, Harcourt Road, Camden Street, Camden Street Lower, Wexford Street, Aungier Street, South Great George’s Street, Dame Street, Lord Edward Street, Christchurch Place, Winetavern Street to the quays.
- Traffic heading south on Dame Street will divert via South Great George’s Street, Aungier Street, Wexford Street, Camden Street Lower, Harcourt Street, Harcourt Road, Charlemont Street, Ranelagh Road, Sandford Road, Clonskeagh Road, Roebuck Road, Foster Avenue to Stillorgan Road.
- Traffic heading south on O’Connell Street will divert via D’Olier Street, Pearse Street, Ringsend Road, Bridge Street, Irishtown Road, Pembroke Street, Beach Road, Strand Road to Rock Road.
- Traffic heading south on Amiens Street will divert via Memorial Road, City Quay, Cardiff Lane, Pearse Street, Ringsend Road, Bridge Street, Irishtown Road, Pembroke Street, Beach Road, Strand Road to Rock Road.
Pedestrian
access will be maintained. Traffic diversions will vary as the
race proceeds. They will be implemented by the Gardai and the
main diversion routes will be signposted.

Bloom
The Commissioners of Public Works order
that to ensure the
safety of participants attending Bloom 2012,
the following Traffic Management arrangements will be
implemented by An Garda Síochána during event hours:
The Ashtown Gate
will be closed on event days to public traffic exept for Emergency
Services.
The North Road will
opeate on a one-way system to facilitate traffic.
On entering the Park
via the Cabra Gate, there will be no right turn (except for Bloom
Event traffic); there will be a left-turn only in the direction of
Parkgate St.
Odd Lamp Road will
be opened for the events but no parking to be permitted on it.
Parking on
Chesterfield Avenue will be restricted from Mountjoy Cross Roundabout
to beyond the Phoenix Monument.
All of Chesterfield
Avenue will be open this weekend.
