Friday's Live Drive Link-Up

This morning's Live Drive Link-Up celebrates the birthday of the one and only Feargal Sharkey, who is 52 today.

We played "A Good Heart", and Yolande took the alternative tack of using Feargal's name to link the track to Carly Simon's "You're So Vain". Here's how she did it.

Fergal Sharkey. A shark was the star of Jaws. Jaws was a character in Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. Title song sung by Carly Simon. Play You're so vain by Carly Simon:) Yolande

The Shark, as he is not known by anyone, would surely be inpressed.

And The Best Of The Rest:

Feargal Sharkey collaborated with Madness on the song "Listen To Your Father". Madness sang "Michael Caine" who starred in the film "Alfie." Play the song "Alfie" from the movie sung by Cilla Black. john the us expat

A Good Heart is the Link song, the winner is picked by Nicole, A Little peace was sung by Nicole in the Eurovision in 80's.. :) nicknameless

Fergal sharky was in the undertones, the undertones lead to two tone records, the specials were on the two tone lable so play ghost town by the specials. bob.

Fergal Sharkey's a good heart seemed to accompany every sex education film we saw at school, using education and teachers, you could link to pink floyd's another brick in the wall, "teacher, leave those kids alone" Mark

Fergal sharkey looked very like Ned Kelly (he really does, google it!), kelly was played in a movie by mick jagger.., play 'waiting on a friend'
