And Now, The End Is Near...

Those of you who regularly commute via the N3 will be delighted to hear that the final pieces of the jigsaw are starting to slot into place. An official opening has been pencilled in for August 31st, after which all of the slips will be opened permanently.

The first stage of these final works will be happening tonight from 10pm with the permanent closure of the existing southbound on-ramp from the junction. This will be replaced by the new free-flow slip from the N3 inbound to the M50 SB which opens at 6am tomorrow morning. Diversions will be in place from 10 to 6.

Just a note on the final layout. There will be no direct access to the M50 South for traffic coming from Blanchardstown village. Traffic wishing to access the M50 South from Blanch village must continue citybound and take the left slip just after the roundabout, this slip will allow you to turn right to the N3/Auburn junction where you must turn right again to the N3 outbound to proceed to the free-flow slip to the M50 South.
