Watling St will close January 21st to February 4th

Watling Street, Dublin 8

A request has been received from John Sisk and Son for the following temporary road closure of Watling Street, Dublin 8 (from Usher’s Island to Bonham Street) from 0.00hrs on Monday 21st January, 2013 to 24.00hrs on Sunday 3rd February, 2013 for the entire period.

The temporary road closure is to facilitate construction of a sewer manhole.

Traffic Management Plan

• Traffic on Wolfe Tone Quay (i.e. North Quays) wishing to cross Rory O’Moore Bridge onto Watling Street will be diverted via Ellis Quay, Arran Quay, Bridge St, Oliver Bond St, Bridgefoot Street, Island St and Bonham St.
• Traffic on Usher’s Quay (i.e. South Quays) wishing to access Watling Street will be diverted via, Bridgefoot St, Island St and Bonham St.
• Pedestrian and local access will be maintained.
