Bloom, Ireland's largest gardening, food and family event, will take place daily at the Phoenix Park from Thursday the 2nd to Monday the 6th of June from 10am to 6pm.
Before and after the event, extra traffic can be expected on the Castleknock Road, Knockmaroon Hill, Chapelizod Hill, Conyngham Road and Parkgate Street.
Take public transport if you can. The Luas serves Collins Barracks and Heuston Station, with both stops just a couple of minutes walk from the Park.
A number of Dublin Bus routes also serve the Phoenix Park:
- 25 Pearse Street to Lucan (Dodsboro).
- 25a Pearse Street to Lucan (Esker Church).
- 26 Pearse Street to Palmerstown (Cherry Orchard).
- 66 Pearse Street to Maynooth (Straffan Rd).
- 66a Pearse Street to Captains Hill (River Forest).
- 66b Pearse Street to Leixlip (Castletown).
- 66d Waterloo Road to Leixlip (Easton Road).
- 67 Pearse Street to Celbridge. 68 Aston Quay to Newcastle/Greenogue Business Park.
- 69 Aston Quay to Rathcoole.
- Routes 37, 38, 39 & 70 serve the Ashtown Gate of Phoenix Park.
