Bloomin' lovely update!

Bloom, Ireland's largest gardening, food and family event, takes place in the grounds of the Visitor's Centre in the Phoenix Park daily from 10am to 6pm from tomorrow until Monday.

Here are details of the traffic management plan that will be in place during event hours:
 - Ashtown Gate will be closed to public traffic (access for emergency services and local traffic will be maintained)
 -  On entering the Park via Cabra Gate, only event traffic will be allowed to turn right, all other traffic must turn left
 - The North Road will operate one-way systems
 - Parking on Chesterfield Avenue will be restricted from Mountjoy Roundabout to beyond the Phoenix Monument and parking on Odd Lamp Road will be prohibited
Before and after the event, extra traffic can be expected on the Castleknock Road, Knockmaroon Hill, Chapelizod Hill, Conyngham Road and Parkgate Street.
If you possibly can, take public transport. The Luas serves Collins Barracks and Heuston Station, with both stops a short walk from the Park.
