Critical Junction - The Pixies - Surfer Rosa

1988 saw the release of The Pixies debut album Surfer Rosa and it's this weeks critical Junction.

It may have not arrived in the US to much hype and fanfare but its had a lasting impression on music. Without it and indeed with out The Pixies grunge most certainly would not have been what it was.
